  • How do I make an appointment?
    Please whatsapp / call us at 91474840 and provide us your preferred date(s)/day so that we can assist you better in our availability of our schedule. As our slot is served on a first come first serve basis and may be given away co-currently, we will usually recommend customers to make a booking at least 3 weeks in advance.
  • Can I still change my appointment?
    BabyU requires the courtesy of a 1 week notice if you need to make any changes in the appointment. [maximum up to 2 changes only] A no show or late cancellation (any changes be made in less than 7 days of your appointment) will result in forfeit of deposit.
  • How do you charge?
    Our package price varies depending on the end product you're looking at. The package price is all-inclusive, with a set number of photo concepts and items you’ll receive. For more information on our packages, please visit our Packages section.
  • Are there additional charges for bookings made on weekends and PH?
    Yes, there is a surcharge of $30 for bookings made on weekends and PH.
  • What is a ‘photo concept’?
    1 photo concept meaning 1 set of outfit at 1 setting/theme. Usually around 40-50 photos will be taken per concept, with various poses, angles and change of hair accessories. A photo concept is an idea of how to shoot a scene. We will evaluate who we are shooting, assign a suitable wardrobe, match it to one of our sets and direct poses for each concept. Because each photo concept is individualised, a change in any of the following – persons in the concept, clothing or sets – will be considered a separate photo concept. Each package comes with a set number of photo concepts.
  • When is the best timing for baby shoot?
    For newborn, the best ideal age to shoot is within 2 weeks old. The next best time to capture milestones are above 3 months old.
  • How do I prepare my child for the photoshoot?
    There’s a few things you can do before the photoshoot: 1. Nap-time: Let your child have plenty of rest before the shoot so he or she will be refreshed for the shoot. 2. Hats & such: We use a lot of accessories to dress up your child for the shoot. Try to get your children used to wearing accessories before the shoot.
  • What should I bring to the shoot?
    You should bring along: 1. Clothing: While we provide wardrobe, if you have specific outfits you’d like us to work with, bring them along for the shoot and let us know when you make your booking. 2. Toys and food: Favourite nibbles and toys can help us get your child excited during the shoot and pacify him. 3. Enthusiasm: Nothing gets your child going more than seeing Mummy or Daddy smile! In case you are taking family shoot, please prepared with matching color outfit with matching shoes. (Please check our gallery on our website or instagram for what outfit is good for family shoot)
  • Will clothing be provided?
    Yes, we do have a wide range of clothing for kids ages 0-3 and various maternity outfits . For family we will recommend parents to prepare matching colour coordinated outfits with matching shoes.
  • Can I designate what my child wears?
    We’d love your input on what you’d like your child to wear and we’ll match that to a suitable setting.
  • Can I get another person to join in a photo concept? Will that cost me extra?
    Yes you can. Because each photo concept is individualised, a change in any of the following – persons in the concept, clothing or sets – will be considered as a separate photo concept.
  • Where is your studio?
    We are located at 16 Shaw Road #05-10, S367954. You may visit our Contact Us page for directions.
  • Can we do the photoshoot other than in your studio?
    Of course! If you’ve got an event that you’d like us to cover, or simply love the setting of a location, contact us and we’ll let you know!
  • What if I'm late for the photo shoot?
    As a courtesy to others, we reserve the right to skip your appointment time and move on to the next waiting customer if you arrive late for your appointment. So please do come on time for the photo shoot.
  • What if it rains?
    We have no control on the weather. However, we do have a variety of indoor sets that look fantastic!
  • Do you do cake smash? What to prepare?
    Yes, we do! You may add on additional cake smash concept at $150 (cake not inclusive). Please bring along spare/clean set of clothes for your baby, wet wipes and plastic bag to keep the dirty clothes if needed. We do have a bathroom for you to clean the baby afterwards so you can also prepare a towel. Any props that you wish to include for the cake smash shoot please bring it along.
  • Is makeup & hair-do provided?
    Hair and make up services are not provided. We'd recommend you to put on your natural daily make-up which would match well with our natural setting.
  • What if I wear spectacles?
    Do note that our studio uses both natural and studio light so there will be bound to have reflections on your lens. To counter this, you may prepare your own contact lens or we do provide some frames without lens.
  • How long will the shoot last?
    It depends on baby's condition on that day. Typically per session will last within an hour.
  • How can I help to make the shoot go smoothly?
    During the shoot, you should: 1. Stay close: Your child will be in a foreign environment with strangers and might feel scared. Stay close to your child as prompted by the photographer to keep them calm and happy. 2. Stay clear: Don’t block the strobes, reflectors and cameras during the shoot for the photos to turn out bright and clear. 3. Stay happy: Children smile more readily when everyone else is doing the same.
  • What if I have any special requests?
    Do let us know before the shoot starts if you have any special requests (poses, concepts, etc). We will not be able to accomodate to all requests but we will try our best.
  • Why do I feel like my shoot is being rushed?
    As we know babies are unpredictable and their mood changes very fast, we will not want to miss any special moments therefore we have to work within this short time frame where they are at their best mood.
  • When will I get to see the photos?
    You will be presented with the photos immediately after the shoot for selection.
  • What if my child didn’t smile throughout the shoot?
    That’s fine. Varied expressions will make for a more interesting album or sequential frame.
  • Why is my baby not looking at the camera?
    In order to make babies smile, we have assistants on hand to interact with them. As such, babies will most likely be looking at our assistants rather than the camera which also gives off a more natural candid feel. However, we will also try our best to have them look at the camera.
  • Why does my photos turn out differently from the sample photos?
    Babies are unpredictable. We are not able to pose every baby the same. The angles, poses and props might differ as we will accomodate to what your baby responds well to.
  • Will I get the soft copies of the photos?
    Depending on the package you’ve selected, you’d either receive soft copies for selected photos, or all the soft copies. For more information on our packages, please visit our Packages section.
  • Are the soft copies you provide high-res?
    Yes for those included in the package / soft copies purchased. However, for those free shoots, soft copies are returned in low resolution.
  • How long will it take before I get my albums/frames/prints?
    It will take 5-8 weeks, depending on which package you select, as we send our photos to Korea for production.
  • Can I get a refund?
    Once the deposit/payment has been made, you have commited to the product/service. Hence, it is non-refundable.
